Learn By Doing
At Tyler Street we want our scholars to apply the skills they learn, outside of the classroom. We have many opportunities for students to use what they learn. We love for our students to serve the community around them. We dedicated one day of the school year for students to simply go out and serve. We also have many days where students can serve with their families outside of school hours. We want to develop servant leaders for the future workforce. We know that our students have these skills because we see the skills at work constantly.
Beyond the Books
All secondary scholars use a hybrid learning program. Textbooks are digital and most coursework is completed online using Google Classroom.
In addition to academics, we focus on character development, service to the community and the spiritual formation of our scholars. A variety of extracurricular activities and elective courses are available. Scholars are also sharpened in their spiritual growth through weekly chapel services and daily devotions in class. We desire for our scholars to be equipped to lead and grow into the calling God has for their life.

Scholarship
In an effort to keep Christian education accessible, TSCA remains committed to offering one the most affordable Christian school options in the DFW area. However, we understand families may still find the cost of tuition to be more than their budget can accomodate. As a result, we actively pursue grants and scholarship funding to help meet this need.
To be considered for a scholarship, families must submit an online application each year to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment; the deadline for current families is April 1, or upon enrollment for new families. FACTS charges an application fee and awards are only granted after all required forms are received and the application has been verified. Funds are awarded annually on the basis of family need and acceptable student academic performance and conduct. Scholarships can be retracted at any time if appropriate standards are not maintained.
