Testing and Standards

Since we are a private school our students are not required to take the STARR test. Instead, our 1st – 2nd grade students take the Stanford Test to see how they have learned throughout the year. Our 3rd- 12th Grade students take the ACT Aspire test which helps them prepare for the ACT. This is one way that we prepare our students for higher education.

Dad's Club

The Dads Club is a volunteer organization of fathers (and father figures) of Tyler Street Christian Academy students, whose goal is to promote father/child interaction through community service, social events, and TSCA community support. It’s a unique and fulfilling way to share in our children’s TSCA experience, while joining in fellowship with other fathers of current TSCA students.

About Us

Our academic preschool is filled with developmentally appropriate curriculum to encourage even our youngest students to love learning. The program allows students to explore and discover in a warm and nurturing environment. Curriculum is carefully customized to fit the needs of bright and energetic young minds. Students are enriched in phonics, arithmetic, reading, and writing.

Tuition | Curriculum

Using engaging curriculum, we challenge our students to become independent thinkers. By building a strong foundation consisting of phonics, reading, and arithmetic, students are equipped with basic principles to improve their learning experience as they advance to upper elementary language arts, social studies, science and math.

Tuition | Curriculum

We diversify the learning experience according to the needs of each student while equipping them with tools to be college and career ready. Our small class size lends itself to individual attention and deeper content exploration. All secondary students use a hybrid learning program. Textbooks are digital and most coursework is completed online using the Ignitia curriculum through our 1:1 laptop program.

What Graduates are Saying

“My TSCA experience was a great time. I learned a lot in my time here and it is sad that it has come to an end. The teaching and environment were both 10 out of 10.”

2019 Alumnus

“I am extremely grateful for TSCA. Honestly, I resented that it was so small growing up, but, once I realized that that gave me an advantage in the classroom, I used it to my benefit. I appreciate the teachers who have impacted my life. I truly feel prepared for college and my future, because of the foundation this school gave me. There were many ups and downs, but I know why I am a Christian, and I know how I am going to positively impact the world. I found my purpose here. That is what matters most. Thank you, TSCA.”

2019 Alumna

“My experience at TSCA was a lot of fun. I got to learn and grow as a believer; as well as engage in activates I could not do anywhere else.”
