International Students

Tyler Street Christian Academy has a uniquely diverse student body and believes that international students are an important part of our community. As a college preparatory school, our program and admissions process is selective.

We accept international students and will issue an I-20 for students who meet our admissions requirements. We do not accept students with an F-1 VISA. Furthermore, we do not provide host families or facilitate other living arrangements. Proficiency in reading and writing in English is required. We do not offer ESL (English as a second language) classes.

Information regarding tuition and fees can be found here.

Application

After a preliminary review of the student’s academic records, including the most cumulative report cards and/or transcript of grades and TOEFL or ISEE scores, students may be invited to complete a student application.

To determine whether you are eligible to complete a new student application, please email admissions@tsca.org.

Upon arrival to the U.S. students must complete an onsite student assessment to confirm grade placement. International students may apply for grades 4-11, however, exceptions may be allowed.

Enrollment & Issuance of I-20

After acceptance to TSCA, students must complete the online enrollment packet, which includes tuition payment selection, and payment of the international student enrollment fee.  An I-20 will only be issued after the online enrollment packet is complete.

We reserve the right to require a student to withdraw from school who is not making satisfactory progress in English and/or other subjects during the first semester.

Please note, TSCA does not provide tuition assistance, housing, transportation, or medical insurance. Students who desire to participate in Athletics must request an athletic eligibility determination from the Athletics Director immediately after enrolling.

We do not work with consultants or other third-party organizations to provide admission to students.
