- About Us · We’re a private, Christian (nondenominational) Preschool -12th grade school in north Oak Cliff. · We love our community! We’ve been in the Oak Cliff community for 45 years and don’t plan to leave any time soon. · We recently launched a new marketing campaign, and are constantly looking for new, strategic ways to promote our school. · Our students and their families are the most important thing to us – they’re why we’re here! – so our top priority is to ensure their satisfaction.
About You · You’re outgoing, and a great storyteller. You help us promote our school and communicate our mission and values through great storytelling. This might be done through our blog, newsletter, print materials, or a promotional video. (Graphic design/video production skills aren’t required, but they’re definitely a plus!) · You’ve got a marketer’s mind, and are always looking to promote the school in the best light possible. You’ve also got some experience working on long-term projects and marketing campaigns. · You’re creative, quick-witted, and think well on your feet. · You’re a great communicator – both orally and in writing. This helps you when you write press releases, website content, and social media blurbs, and when you correspond with prospective students and their families – whether by phone, email, or when you’re giving them a campus tour! · As stated above, we’re community-minded, so you assist in the management of community outreach and public relations. · You’re organized and capable of planning internal and external events. · Sometimes we’ve got several projects going at once, so you enjoy multi-tasking. · There’s hardly such a thing as a “typical day” in the Development office, so you’re pretty flexible and are okay with wearing several hats. · You enjoy working with kids/youth and (ideally) you have a little experience working around them. · Lastly, you’ve signed our statement of faith.
This description is not exhaustive, but it’s a general overview of some of the things you might be introduced to, or asked to assist with. If this sounds like you, please email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 214-941-9717!
